Nothing Ear (1) TWS earbuds fall off the shelf as Ear (2) sale starts this week
The Nothing Ear (2) has recently launched, making it the first second-generation product from Nothing to hit the market since its debut last year.
The Ear (2) TWS earbuds are available in some countries and will go on sale in India from March 28, but the new product launch means that None has decided that it doesn’t need to sell the Ear (1) earbuds in the market. any more.
That’s right, No Ear (1) earphones have been removed from the product list on their official website, which means that the company has stopped manufacturing the product. We also browsed Flipkart to see if Ear (1) is listed, but only found Nothing Ear (2) and Ear Stick on the e-commerce platform.
The Nothing Ear (2) open sale starts on Tuesday, March 28 in India, and it seems that Nothing is focused on moving its production line to the Ear (2) and Ear Stick models instead of three products, which makes sense.
Nothing launched the Ear 1 at Rs 5,999 in July last year, with an impressive array of features for the price. The Ear 1 earbuds have 11.6 dynamic drivers, which are relatively larger than most TWS earbuds on the market.
It supports ANC and comes with Bluetooth v5.2 which enables connection with Android and Apple smartphones. There are two modes that allow users to adjust ANC levels. ‘Light mode’ is for moderate noise reduction mode, while ‘Maximum mode’ is for noisier environments.
The in-ear headphones have a semi-inward featherlite design that may cause fit issues for some people. You also have 12.6 mm drivers equipped in the headphones and up to 30 hours of playback time. The Ear (2) has been launched in India at a price of Rs 9,999 and you only have the white color option available for now.
